My French is not very good, but even I can understand that this message that this message I saw on the main forum http://www.clubcoupe406.com/EuroForums/ ... highlight=

refers to a recall for 2.2 HDi's.

I own an HDi and so I am very interested in finding out what the problem is.

Unfortunately I cannot understand what the article is saying ?

Is there anyone who can translate this message for me.

It's about the "pre-warming" system, the "junction box" where it is integrated is subject to early degradation. This box should be behind the battery and the air duct.
It concerns 406 built between March 2000 and September 2003.
Hope you can figure out what I mean, not easy to translate such technical terms

I don't believe this recall has been advertised in the UK yet.

This month’s recalls
Peugeot 406, 607 and 807
Products affected: 93,000 vehicles fitted with 2.0 and 2.2 HDi engines, 27,000 of which are Peugeot 406s manufactured between March 2000 and September 2003 and 66,000 Peugeot 607s manufactured from September 1999 to September 2003.
Problem: the pre-heat control unit does not age well and causes starting difficulties.
Products affected: Peugeot 807s fitted with 2.0 and 2.2 HDi engines.
Problem: the power-assisted braking vacuum circuit requires corrective action.
