Hi Pasquale and sorry for this late answer.

You can easily fit new shoks without variable assistance. At least you will have to unplugged the variable assistance switch but no more.

You must knw that there's a big difference between variable and normal shocks, so even if it's less expensive, keep in mid that you will have another car after.
